Thank God It’s Friday,

Don’t I just love weekends and holidays? Well, for me Weekends are those times I hit a pause button in the hustle and bustle of life (which make a good recipe for stress ulcers) and get to sleep in, read books, watch movies and hangout with friends and fam. Basically any lazy thing you can think of. It helps me assess where I am viz-a-viz where I set to be. Whether I have achieved my set goals. Most importantly they keep me sane. I find so much rejuvenation afterwards, enough to steer me through the next couple of days till it’s a weekend again.

Over the past couple of days a lot has been going on in my life and I have been thinking, “Why do we even try so much when the barriers are so high and the odds so low? Why don’t we just pack it and go home? And it’ll be so so much easier”. It’s because in the end there’s no glory in easy. No one remembers easy or ordinary. They remember the blood and the bones (metaphorically of course) and the long agonizing fight to the top. And that is how you become legendary. Never Settle.

Earlier last week I shared the first look of how I styled my denim dress. This is the second way I styled it. Since we’re starting the weekend, this is a good way to rock your denim. It also makes for a good preppy kinda look.

NB: You remember Zina, Whom I featured in this postย Here ?. Meet Amber the sister. She is such a darling. I played so much with her I honestly forgot I was shooting.

That’s it for today.

Happy Halloween Weekend.

PS: Ignore the resting bitch face, that is just my normal face by the way. I am a sweet girl, I promise. Haha.
