HOW TO WEAR METALLIC: CHIC AND FUNKY

Hi Beautiful Earthlings,

“Brenda where have you been for close to 3 months now?
What have you been up to?

What do you have planned out for the month of December?

Has your marital status changed?

Has your bum grown any bigger?

And how is school?”

I’m sure these are the questions some of y’all asking, well, maybe not all 😂.

Where do I even begin?! Let’s just say A loooooot has been going on. I feel like I have experienced 4 years within a period of 12months. I honestly just reached a cul de sac in very many spheres of my life and I’ve been working to get back on track.

In the spirit of getting my house in order, I decided to do a series of three looks featuring a street style trend we’ve seen in 2017 especially. How can you rock metallic pieces(shoes, dresses etc), without necessarily looking like a sweet wrapper or someone advertising Mabati? The former is a serious issue, especially with the plastic bag ban in Kenya,😂, *sigh* I’m a crackhead, I know! 😰.

For the first look I wore this Zara Silver Metallic A-line Skirt (not quite sure I’ve arranged the adjectives correctly, but you get the gist.. Kizungu si mdomo changu). I decided to wear it with this very Christmasy sweater top which has some very beautiful sequin print/design. Per usual you can never go wrong with a pair of black strappy chunky sandal heels. The diamond-shaped silver clutch was just the icing on the cake. Some good make up, good hair and a little bit of bad Bitch attitude and bam 💥💥!! There You have your chic and funky look!

Thank you for stopping by.

If you have any questions or suggestions on what you’d want me to tackle or blog about do let me know.

DeUces,

Bree.
