Happy New Year!

You have no idea how I have been so eager to say those four words “I graduated from college”. After five years of medical school(School of Pharmacy) in a Kenyan Public University you never think a time will come when you finally clear school. With the gazillion lecturers’ strikes, student strikes, support staff strikes, doctors’ strikes and Kenyan politics, comes some form of pessimism.

What can I say? I made friends, I made mistakes, I fell in love, I fell out of love, I learnt, I failed, I passed, I cried one too many times, I overcame my fears, I grew in so many different ways, I truly lived! And now I am a Doctor *you know I had to casually throw that in*. It all really is God’s doing and I couldn’t be more grateful. I most definitely hope for a better future in my medical practice and life in general.

Here’s to breaking the glass ceiling and better tomorrows for all of us.

Catch you guys on my next post.

Love and Love,
